An internationally known expert in proposal writing, Tom Sant has been called "America's foremost practitioner of proposal writing" by the American Management Association. He has trained thousands of sales people, executives, and other professionals to write winning proposals, deliver effective presentations, and manage complex communication projects in a career that spans more than 25 years.
He is the author of Persuasive Business Proposals, which has sold more than 100,000 copies, was chosen by seven book clubs, and named one of the seven best business books by Inc. columnist Geoffrey James. In 2001, he was named the first-ever Fellow of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) for lifetime contributions to the profession of proposal writing. Tom has spoken to audiences around the world and worked with hundreds of companies to improve their proposal writing, presentation skills, and business capture processes.
Susan Hirsch has had a distinguished career in sales and marketing management with some of America's most successful and most innovative software companies. Today Susan works with her clients to help them develop sales skills and to profile successful sales people.
As vice president at Dun and Bradstreet Software, Susan was responsible for more than 100 employees and more than $30 million in annual revenue. In 1990 she took an equity position at Whitewater Software as Vice President of Sales, where she quickly helped the firm establish a leading position in developing object-oriented programming tools. Whitewater was acquired by Symantec in 1992, at which time Susan became president of Dynatec, a pioneering sales force automation company. In 1994, she became co-owner of The Sant Corporation. As president, she oversaw all sales, marketing and operational activities for the firm, helping it become recognized as the leader in proposal automation systems.
In 2001, she joined with Tom Sant in forming Hyde Park Partners as a vehicle to share her experience with clients.
